Unarchiving task should not unarchive subtasks

I have a task in level one for each of my client. And a subtask for each contract (project). Usually I archive the billed contract-subtasks to keep the taskoverview clean. When all contract-subtasks are completed and no more projects are planned in near future I also archive the client task. If sometime later the client want a new project I unarchive the client task and create a new project task. By unarchiving the client task all subtasks get unarchived too, no matter if they where archived before or not. It would be nice if individual tasks won't forget it archive status, so unarchiving a task won't unarchive the subtasks (if they where archived before).

I understand your scenario. What I can do is add an option to the contextual menu of archived tasks like this:
When you right-click on an archived task that has subtasks, you can choose between “Unarchive Task” and “Unarchive Task and Subtasks”.
    Would this help?
