What setting(s) makes all new subtasks the same color?

What settings need to me made so that each subtask keeps the same color?

    Hi Greg,

    I’m sorry for the late reply!

    Unfortunately there is no automatic way to have each subtask get the same color.
    You would have to do it manually by either copy&paste the hex color code or drag&drop the color from the “saved colors” in the color panel.
    Alternatively, you might also only select the parent task in the task list (left column in Timelime’s main window), then the color that is used for all of it’s subtasks in the charts etc. is the parent tasks color.

    I am thinking about a good way to add a feature that would automatically have all subtasks of a task keep the same color… Do you have a suggestion?
