How to start a timer with keyboard only
Hi,
I have a global hotkey to toggle a timer but this only works for timers that have already been started. I can also open the menu bar panel with a global shortcut. From there I can create a new timer with cmd+N but I can't start it.
1) How do I actually start a time for the first time with keyboard shortcuts?
2) Also is there a master list of shortcuts somewhere that I'm missing?
The app is great by the way, nice and clean.

Hi Oliver,
Thank you very much for using Timelime!
Regarding your first question:
In short you can just hit the space key to start the selected task.
To start any timer using the keyboard only you can do this:
- use your hotkey to show the menu bar panel
- navigate to the task using arrow keys
- to show/hide subtasks of a task you can use the left or right arrow key
- press 'space' to toggle the timer for the selected task
Alternatively you can use the "recent tasks menu" to start timing for a recently used task. Just define a hotkey in Timelime's preferences to show recent tasks. In the menu you can then navigate using the arrow keys and toggle the timer with the 'space' key.
Unfortunately these shortcuts are not documented.
I hope this helps,
Niko
