Hi Franco,
Did you try exporting using the export button at the bottom of the Timings view?
This will export the selected tasks/timings only…

Hi Nico,
thx for the help.
But it does not work like this.
See the screenshots below.
It shows up only the two selected jobs - in preview the different jobs and the export is then the total.
I found out that I’m only able to get the result by archiving the job and then export.

Hi Nico,
me again.
It would be nice that when i tap the job in the list (left) it show up on the right.
Is there a simple solution?
thx
Franco

Hey Franco,
Archiving the task and then exporting should make no difference.
In the “Preview” field always only a few lines will show. But the amount of rows in the export is indicated at the top of the pane (“Exporting 42 timings” in your screenshot).
Does this make sense to you?
Thanks,
Niko

Me again:)
There are two kinds of “Selection” in the task list in the left column of the window:
1. Clicking on the task (gives it a different shade, like the marked task in your screenshot) -> regular selection, used for actions like deleting, moving tasks etc
2. Selecting the checkbox to the left of the task name -> Selecting a task for display in the date picker (middle column of the window) and the different views in the right part of the window (“Timings” view, charts…)
Does this help?

Hi Nico,
Archiving the task and then exporting should make no difference.
But that’s the only way that works in my case - don’t know why.
And why does it “Exporting 42 timings”?
When i only choose 2 and the wrong (not selected) showing in up in preview.
hm.
thx
Franco

Strange, I just checked and it works here.
The export should export all timings that are listed in the table of the “Timings” view, before you click the export button.
This is also the number that is displays at the top of the export panel (“Exporting 42 timings”).
Can you please send me screenshots of the steps that you do to get the wrong results again.
Thank you!

tadaaa!
Had to figure out to click on the checkbox and not only on the job and select only the „one“ on top.
Thank you for the support.

Great!
Just the checkbox in the task list matters whether it’s selected for display in the other parts of the window.
When I want to select only one task (+ subtasks) I usually select “none” in the popup button above the task list and then click on the on the checkbox of the desired task.
