Time calculation is wrongTiming
Hi,
I've multiple time entries, which are wrong calculated (see the atteched file). When I manually change the timestamps and set it to explicit values, it calculates 15min. After switching the view to any other and back ot taskview it is again 14 minutes.
How can I force timeline to calculate right?
Kind regards,
Marc Becker

Hi Marc,
The difference is due to rounding. The start and end times are rounded down to the minute, while the duration is rounded to the nearest minute.
So in your screenshot you might have started the timer at 8:45:50(seconds) and stopped it at 9:00:05. Then the duration of the timing is 14 minutes and 15 seconds, which is rounded to 14 minutes.
If you want it to show a duration of 15 minutes, you can set the rounding of the task “Kunden” to “round up to nearest minute” after right-clicking on the task > "Get info”…
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Niko

Hi Niko,
Thanks for the clarification. I’ve searched that under preferences…
It works now.
