Switching from Dark to Light-Mode
I use the auto mode in System Preferences > General > Appearance which automatically switches to dark mode at night and to light mode at day. Sometimes the Icon in the menu bar and in the Dock does not switch back while changing from dark to light. I was not able to find how to reproduce this behavior, at least just switching from light to dark and back to light doesn't trigger it. Completely restarting the application helps to get the icons back.
If I remember I will also take a screenshot of the missing menu bar icon, next time it happens. It simply isn't there leaving a blank space of it's usual size in menu bar.

I am using the up to data version 1.7.1 which should include the fix from http://support.timelimeapp.com/discussions/problems-mac/713-status-bar-icon-disappeared-since-last-update.

Hi Lars,
Thank you very much for reporting this issue!
I will try to reproduce it and see what I can do.
For some reason Apple has made it very hard for apps to be notified properly when the appearance changes in automatic mode…

I found a way to reproduce the problem for the task bar icon:
0. Close Timelime App
1. Switch to Darkmode
2. Start Timelime App
3. Switch to Lightmode
