Why the short character limit on project names? This makes the app unusable for me.

    Hi Jack!

I originally limited the width of task names to avoid abbreviations in the pie chart view and other places.
Since you and other users have complained about this, longer task names will be available soon with the next update. To make this more convenient, the menu bar panel and the task list in the main window will be resizable horizontally as well.

Thank you and have a great day,
    Niko

Hi, I'm working with TimeLine on my MacBook and on my iMac.
Can I merge the databases of my MacBook and my iMac?

Or can I start two Timing at the same time?

    Regards
    Martin

    Hi Martin,

thank you for downloading my app!

Can I merge the databases of my MacBook and my iMac?

What you can do is backup all data on one machine (Preferences > Backup) and then import the XML file to the other (Preferences > Import). Then the databases will be merged.
Identical tasks will be merged automatically if you originally created them on one machine only and then exported/imported them to the other. In the next update there will also be a manual merge of tasks available.

Or can I start two Timing at the same time?

I'm sorry, Timelime supports only one timer running at a time.

    Have a great day,
    Niko
