Main window appears even though "Open main window at launch" is disabled
I have Timelime set to launch when I log in. Even though I have "Open main window at launch" disabled, the main window appears when Timelime starts.
I'm currently using Timelime 1.5.14 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 (happens on both my iMac and my MBPr 15")

Thanks for letting me know about this!
When you launch Timelime and there is not enough room in the macOS menubar to display the Timelime status item, the “main window” automatically appears regardless of the setting “Open main window at launch. Maybe this is happening in your case… can you check?

Turns out it's because I have the menubar hidden (System Preferences > General > "Automatically hide and show the menu bar") which I guess then fools Timelime to think it can show its status item.

Ok thanks, that explains it.
I have implemented this behavior so when you launch Timelime there is always some visual indication that the app has started.
Does it bother you?
