ctrl-tap not working as it should
Hi Niko
I discovered an other small issue with a symptom that I first didn't understand.
If eg. you want to change the start-time of a running timer with a right click on the timing-item in the top-menu dropdown, the menu appears as it should. However if you ctrl-click the same item with a tap on the trackpad, the menu disappears behind the dropdown menu. The same ctrl-tap works fine on most other menus, but not here.
See the animated-gif I added.
The menu appears very briefly and then disappears. Depending on where you click, the menu stays partly visible, but if you widen the dropdown-menu it can hide completely.
Ofcourse I can do the regular right-click while holding the mouse button, but it is an inefficient mouse gesture (certainly on a trackpad) and I easily click the wrong thing...
So, if you have nothing else to solve, this one might be a candidate... :-)
(besides this, still happy with your app!)
Kind regards
Erwin

Thanks Eric,
That’s a very good find!
I’ll fix it in the next update.
Keep the reports coming:)

Happy I make you happy by finding problems... :-)
Perhaps I also make you happy with an idea I had while using Timelime... in this context.
I often find myself working on something (because of an e-mail or a phone coming in) and forgot to start the timer or to switch to the other client that interrupted my work.
I then have to do quite a lot of clicking and typing while holding a phone in the other hand. Perhaps it would be nice to have an extra button (perhaps the same as the clock you have already but with a different color and just next to it) to do all this in one move. I suppose one extra -and of course optional- button with a presettable (settings) back time would be enough... On average phone calls for small urgent things don't last too long, but they take all my attention and mostly I realise I forgot the timer at about 15 minutes later...
Kind regards,
Erwin
