Thank you very much for reporting this issue! I’ll try to find out what causes it.
I have two questions:
Have you updated to version 1.5 of the app last week and did this freeze happen since then also?
By “having to shut down and reopen” you mean you are closing the main window of the app (viewer) and reopening it from the panel that pops up from the menu bar, right? (i.e. the app doesn’t crash).
