I'm sure you did already, but please make sure there is enough room in the menu bar to display Timelime's menu item.
Also, open Activity Monitor (Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor) and enter "Timelime" in the search field. If any entries show up, please quit them.
If this didn't help, try restarting your mac. Or delete the App from the applications folder and re-download it from the App Store.
Did Timelime launch before?
