Perhaps I'm not understanding the purpose of this software. From the disucssions it seems like there is a way to set a timer and have it record how much time has passed. How do I start this timer? I only seem to be able to add "timings" with a manual start and end time. Is this how it's designed?

I just figured out that all the controls for timing are in the top menu bar. Took a while to notice that. It might be good to call out that interaction for first-time users.
