Coordination between Mac and iPhone with Dropbox
I have been using Timelime about 8 months. I just got the phone app to be able to track some work when not on the computer. I chose to sync via Dropbox.
I don't use it very much, but the last two times I did, it lost time that had been logged. Fortunately both times were near the end of the day, so I knew what my total time had exceed, and could restore most.
One time, it created separate tasks for one of the enties and then somehow lost time.
The other time, I' moretty sure a whole task disappeared.
I've been staying away from the phone app since.
Does hte syncing work better through iCloud?

Hi David,
I’m sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for letting me know.
Yes, please use iCloud sync for now.
I’ll do some extensive testing of the Dropbox sync to see what is going on and will get back to you.

Hi David,
I released a minor update to the IOS version yesterday, which should improve the sync.
Please let me know if you are still having Problems.
In general, I would recommend using iCloud sync because it enables the iOS app to sync, even when the app is in the background.
